Lithium primary batteries and storage batteries

Intercel supplies various types of lithium accumulator / storage batteries, storage battery packs, non-rechargeable / primary battery packs, primary batteries and cells. There are different kinds of lithium batteries available, for example, lithium ion, lithium polymer and LiFePO4 (iron-phosphate). These differ in weight, life span, housing and explosion hazard.

LiFePO4 lithium storage batteries

For cyclic applications, where the battery is frequently discharged, we offer tailored LiFePO4 lithium storage battery solutions. For these projects we design the LiFePO4 lithium battery pack required . Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) is the battery technology of the future for use in vehicles and other applications where light weight, high currents and a large number of cycles (cycle = 1 x charging and 1 x discharging) of importance. Compared to AGM batteries LiFePO4 battery cells do 5 times more cycles. In addition, LiFePO4 lithium battery cells are safer to use compared to lithium ion and lithium polymer cells.
